[PRESS RELEASE – Berlin, Germany, October 13th, 2025]

Jumper Exchange has partnered with Lido to launch a feature that lets Ethereum stakers skip the usual withdrawal queue. Users can now swap stETH and wstETH directly to ETH without waiting.

The standard Ethereum unstaking process requires users to join a queue that can take days or even weeks. This creates problems for anyone who needs quick access to their funds. The new integration removes this bottleneck entirely.

For traders who need to move fast when markets shift, the waiting period has been a real headache. The ability to swap tokens on Linea and other networks through Jumper Exchange now extends to instant ETH withdrawals from Lido staking positions.

The feature went live on the Jumper Exchange platform in early August. Users connect their wallets and execute the swap in a few clicks. Jumper’s routing system finds competitive rates across multiple liquidity sources.

Lido maintains leading share of staked ETH in the ecosystem. When users stake through Lido, they receive stETH or wstETH tokens that represent their staked position. These tokens can be used in DeFi protocols, but converting them back to regular ETH has traditionally meant joining the withdrawal queue.

The partnership changes that dynamic. Stakers can now exit their positions instantly when they need to, whether that’s to take profits, cut losses, or deploy capital elsewhere. The swap happens on-chain through Jumper’s aggregated liquidity network.

Transaction fees vary based on network congestion and the size of the swap. Users should check the quoted rates before confirming transactions. Slippage can occur during periods of high volatility or low liquidity.

Both platforms have been audited multiple times. Jumper Exchange has undergone four separate security audits. Lido’s smart contracts have been reviewed by several firms since the protocol launched.

The integration supports both stETH and wstETH. The wrapped version (wstETH) maintains a fixed balance while stETH rebases daily to reflect staking rewards. Users can swap either token type to ETH through the same interface.

About Jumper Exchange

Jumper Exchange aggregates liquidity across more than 50 blockchain networks. The platform connects to over 20 bridges and 20 decentralized exchanges. Users can execute cross-chain swaps through a single interface.

About Lido

Lido operates a decentralized staking protocol for Ethereum. The protocol allows users to stake any amount of ETH and receive liquid staking tokens in return. These tokens can be traded or used in DeFi while the underlying ETH earns staking rewards.

On-chain ransom negotiations show ShibaSwap hacker won’t be low-balled

The post On-chain ransom negotiations show ShibaSwap hacker won’t be low-balled appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. On-chain messages between hacker and victim reveal a ransom standoff, with every demand etched permanently on the blockchain. Last Friday, $2.8 million worth of (mostly dog-themed) crypto tokens were stolen from ShibaSwap, a “next generation decentralized exchange” for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Among the loot were approximately 250 billion KNINE tokens, from liquid staking protocol K9 Finance. K9 wants them back, and is willing to pay the hacker a bounty. The tokens are ostensibly worth over $600,000 at current market prices. Though a simulated swap, through extremely thin liquidity, paints a rather different picture. The hack was flagged by security firms Peckshield and Tikkala Security and involved using a “flash” loan to buy up enough tokens to achieve “majority validator power.” Then, the hacker signed “a malicious state to drain assets from the bridge.” They subsequently split up most of the stolen assets between various addresses but the stash of KNINE tokens, though, clearly not worth swapping, remains in their primary address. Read more: Circle and Tether bug bounties aren’t enough says LlamaRisk ShibaSwap hack negotiations begin On Monday, an address labelled “k9dev.eth” reached out to their “Dear Shibarium Bridge Hacker” on-chain, offering a five-ether (ETH) “bounty to return stolen KNINE tokens.” Presumably, the K9 team is very keen to avoid the hacker swapping such a large quantity of KNINE which would likely send its price to near zero. The message also contains the address of a bounty contract to facilitate the exchange, piling on the pressure with the warning that the “bounty will start to decrease in seven days.” Not one to be low-balled, however, the hacker has responded, “I can’t accept five ETH.” They instead propose no less than 50 ETH (around $225,000), adding “let me know when you are willing to meet that price.” The full exchange…
