WisdomTree Launches Europe’s First Fully Staked Ethereum ETP

Key Highlights:

  • WisdomTree launches Europe’s First Fully Staked Ethereum ETP (LIST) backed by stETH.
  • LIST is available on majority of the exchanges through the European markets.
  • The ETP offers a secure, low-cost, regulated way to earn Ethereum staking rewards.

WisdomTree has announced that it has introduced a new crypto investment product called the “WisdomTree Physical Lido Staked Ether ETP” (Ticker LIST). This is an important move because it is Europe’s first investment product that is fully based on staked Ethereum.

This product invests only in stETH, which is a token you get when you stake Ethereum through Lido. So instead of just tracking ETH price, this ETP also gives investors the rewards earned from staking ETH on the blockchain.

This launch also indicates that institutional investors are becoming more and more interested in liquid staking, and it makes earning yield on Ethereum easier and more accessible for everyday and professional investors.

A Fully Staked Ethereum Exposure

The LIST product is different from all other crypto ETPs because it only holds stETH, which is Ethereum that is already staked through Lido. The stETH token lets investors earn staking rewards while still being able to trade or move their tokens anytime.

Normally, crypto investment products keep some unstaked ETH on the side to handle buying and selling from investors. This means only part of their ETH earns staking rewards.

However, WisdomTree’s product removes that system completely. It has no unstaked ETH buffer, everything is in stETH. As a result of this, investors get full exposure to staked Ethereum and the product can manage assets more smoothly without needing to unstake or restake tokens again and again.

With LIST, investors do not need to stake ETH by themselves, run validators, deal with technical processes, or worry about lock-in periods. All those complicated steps are already handled inside the product. So people can enjoy the long-term benefits of staking Ethereum in a smooth and hassle-free way, using a familiar financial system.

Multi-Exchange European Listings

WisdomTree has made LIST available across many of the European stock exchanges, which includes Xetra in Germany, SIX in Switzerland, and Euronext in Paris and Amsterdam. This means both retail and institutional investors across Europe can easily access it.

LIST will combine the traditional stock market setup with the innovative world of crypto staking, letting people earn Ethereum staking rewards through a regulated and familiar investment product.

Launch Scale and Fee Structure

At launch, LIST manages around $50 million in assets and charges a 0.5% annual fee, covering administration, custody and reward distribution.

This initial interest indicates that the investors want to earn by staking Ethereum but do not want to stake the token themselves.

Institutional Adoption and Market Impact

The launch of LIST is a big step for institutional investors that are looking to earn crypto yields. With Lido’s liquid staking system, investors can avoid complex tasks such as running nodes or worrying about penalties.

This ETP also solves liquidity and compliance issues, and makes it easier for banks and asset managers, and wealth managers to include staked ETH in their portfolios.

This move will strengthen the liquid staking market. As more investment products adopt stETH, confidence in staking derivatives grows, encouraging wider Ethereum staking and helping the network stay secure and decentralized.

What This Means for Ethereum Investors

With LIST, it becomes easy for investors to earn staking rewards as investors can simply buy and sell the ETP on regular European stock exchanges and still receive staking yields through the token’s price.

LIST opens up Ethereum staking to everyone, not just technical experts or big operators, and fits perfectly with Ethereum’s growing Proof-of-Stake ecosystem, which is key to Web3 and decentralized finance.

Satoshi-Era Mt. Gox’s 1,000 Bitcoin Wallet Suddenly Reactivated

The post Satoshi-Era Mt. Gox’s 1,000 Bitcoin Wallet Suddenly Reactivated appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. X account @SaniExp, which belongs to the founder of the Timechain Index explorer, has published data showing that a dormant BTC wallet was activated after hibernating for six years. However, it was set up 13 years ago, according to the tweet — the time when Satoshi Nakamoto’s shadow was still casting itself around, so to speak. The X post states that the tweet belongs to infamous early Bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox, which suffered from a major hack in the early 2010s, and last year it began paying out compensation to clients who lost their crypto in that hack. The deadline was eventually extended to October 2025. Mt. Gox’s wallet with 1,000 BTC reactivated The above-mentioned data source shared a screenshot from the Timechain Index explorer, showing multiple transactions marked as confirmed and moving a total of 1,000 Bitcoins. This amount of crypto is valued at $116,195,100 at the time of the initiated transaction. Last year, Mt. Gox began to move the remains of its gargantuan funds to pay out compensations to its creditors. Earlier this year, it also made several massive transactions to partner exchanges to distribute funds to Mt. Gox investors. All of the compensations were promised to be paid out by Oct. 31, 2025. The aforementioned transaction is likely preparation for another payout. The exchange was hacked for several years due to multiple unnoticed security breaches, and in 2014, when the site went offline, 744,408 Bitcoins were reported stolen.
