Real Finance secures $29m to scale its RWA tokenization infrastructure and target $500m in on-chain assets.

Summary
  • Real Finance raises $29m to expand its RWA infrastructure and targets tokenizing $500m in assets in its first year.
  • Nimbus Capital leads a $29m commitment to Real Finance as it builds compliant rails for global real-world asset tokenization.
  • Real Finance eyes rapid expansion, partnering with global banks to scale secure, regulated RWA tokenization.

Real Finance, the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization network, has announced the completion of a private funding round and capital commitment totaling $29m. Led by Nimbus Capital with a $25m commitment, and with participation of Magnus Capital and Frekaz Group in a $4m private round.

Having secured the funding to build out its RWA infra layer, Real Finance aims to tokenize $500m of RWAs in its first year, representing 2% of the total market for tokenized assets. The investment will support Real to expand its partner network, scale its infrastructure, and onboard regulated financial institutions preparing to bring traditional asset classes on-chain. The aim is to advance real-world asset tokenization while establishing Real Finance as a major infra provider for RWAs.

“Nimbus Capital’s decision to support Real Finance reaffirms that we are on course to power the next generation of global financial infrastructure. Having a fund with such institutional pedigree standing behind our mission, coupled with the support of leading investor Magnus Capital, is a validation of our work to date,” said Real Finance CEO Ivo Grigorov.

“With their support, I’m excited for what’s to come as we enable hundreds of millions of dollars in real-world assets to flow through Real,” he added.

Robert Baker, Managing Partner at Nimbus Capital, added: “This investment reflects our belief in the direction finance is moving. Real Finance is creating the secure and compliant foundation institutions need to bring real-world assets onchain. We’re delighted to be supporting a team that is bringing transparency and trust to the next generation of financial infrastructure, and we’ll be with them every step of the way.”

At the same time, Real Finance has committed to a program of global expansion that includes advancing institutional relationships with banks such as Panama’s Canal Bank and Austria’s Wiener Bank and also rapidly building an alliance of regulated financial institutions and service providers across multiple regions, including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, that are integrating its technology to enable secure and compliant asset tokenization.

“We’re privileged to have led Real’s private round, giving them the support they need to enhance and scale their Layer-1 solution. 2025 has shown that there’s real institutional demand for RWAs – and in 2026, we’re confident that Real Finance will be capturing a significant slice of that multi-billion dollar market,” said Matthijs Van Driel, CEO and Co-founder of Magnus Capital.

Real’s architecture is built on a dual-validator model that integrates business entities such as tokenization firms, risk assessors, and insurers directly into network consensus. This structure, combined with an embedded risk framework and disaster recovery mechanism, makes Real the an advanced blockchain infrastructure for real-world financial assets.
