This New DeFi Crypto Could 15x From $0.035, Only 4% Tokens Left in Phase 6

A rapid rise in a DeFi altcoin valued at $0.035 is gaining a lot of momentum as it moves in the last push in its current phase allocation. Several investors feel that Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is about to enter one of the most successful breakout years of 2026. Some of the models are even already mentioning the possibility of a 15x move and the time window on which one could enter the market with such a move is collapsing rapidly.

Presale Strength and What Mutuum Finance Is Building

Mutuum Finance was launched at the beginning of the year 2025 during its presale at the value of $0.01 and has since exploded by 250% to its present value of $0.035. The project has collected and raised $19.250M, increased to 18,500 holders and sold 815 M tokens already. Of 4B total MUTM tokens, 1.82B or 45.5% are distributed at presale stages. Phase 6 is now at a 96% point and only the remaining bits to supply remain until the next crypto price increase.

Mutuum Finance is developing a decentralized lending protocol that is based on structured borrowing and lending. Users are able to deposit assets in the form ETH or USDT and get mtTokens. mtTokens appreciate as borrowers pay interest. Borrowers apply a mechanism through which they modify the levels of interest depending on the liquidity, levels of loan to value policies and liquidation. This provides the functional strength rather than the hype volatility to the protocol.

V1 Launch and Analyst Forecasts

It was announced by the team on its official X account that the V1 testnet will launch in Q4 2025. V1 presents the lending pool, liquidation tools and the debt module, of which the mtTokens. It will support ETH and USDT upon launch. This is an achievement to live user interaction and one of the key factors contributing to the interest by analysts in MUTM.

The developing yield structure of the protocol is based on the use of mtTokens. As the borrowers pay their interest, the value of the mtTokens inflates. Another engine that is employed by Mutuum Finance is buy-and-distribute. A fraction of protocol revenue would be used to buy MUTM on the open market, these MUTM tokens would be redistributed to users that stake their mtTokens in the safety module. This generates consistent purchasing momentum as it is adopted.

Due to these dynamics, a number of observers think that Mutuum Finance (MUTM) may enter a 10x to 15x frame when its initial lending cycle is operational, particularly when V1 starts to draw genuine borrowing money.

Layer-2 Scaling and Long Term

Mutuum Finance is going to introduce USD-pegged stablecoin backed by the interest of borrowers, according to the official roadmap. Stablecoins are useful in the expansion of lending platforms since they minimize volatility and instead generate liquidity and provide users with predictable lending terms. Numerous prosperous lending ecosystems did not achieve high rates of adoption until a stablecoin was introduced.

It is also planned to deploy layer-2. L2 networks are cheaper and quicker to settle which is critical to lending platforms where the collateral and liquidation trigger has to be rapidly updated. Under L2 scaling, the number of borrowers and lenders that Mutuum Finance can serve can also increase with activity.

Due to the possible usage of stablecoins, growth of L2 and robust oraclelets, it is estimated that the growth could reach 500%-1500% by 2027 provided that the users follow the projections. These models underscore the reason why traders seeking the best crypto to invest in, opportunities are following these carefully.

Community Activity and Security Foundation

Mutuum Finance also had a CertiK audit with a 90/100 Token Scan score. Halborn Security is evaluating the smart contracts and protocols of collateral behavior and logic of liquidation that is of the protocol. On one occasion, a $50K bug bounty was offered to programmers and asked them to test the system prior to the V1 launching. The so-called security preparation is one of the positive aspects of the project.

People remain active every day, with the 24-hour leaderboard, the highest contributor in terms of contributions wins $500 MUTM. The availability of card payments facilitates the process of onboarding and therefore assists in increasing community presence in new marketplaces.

As Phase 6 is nearly sold and 4% of all tokens are still at the $0.035 phase, investors are under pressure trying to make their final period of entry into the system ahead of the next price surge in Phase 7.

Aave DAO to Shut Down 50% of L2s While Doubling Down on GHO

The post Aave DAO to Shut Down 50% of L2s While Doubling Down on GHO appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Aave DAO is gearing up for a significant overhaul by shutting down over 50% of underperforming L2 instances. It is also restructuring its governance framework and deploying over $100 million to boost GHO. This could be a pivotal moment that propels Aave back to the forefront of on-chain lending or sparks unprecedented controversy within the DeFi community. Sponsored Sponsored ACI Proposes Shutting Down 50% of L2s The “State of the Union” report by the Aave Chan Initiative (ACI) paints a candid picture. After a turbulent period in the DeFi market and internal challenges, Aave (AAVE) now leads in key metrics: TVL, revenue, market share, and borrowing volume. Aave’s annual revenue of $130 million surpasses the combined cash reserves of its competitors. Tokenomics improvements and the AAVE token buyback program have also contributed to the ecosystem’s growth. Aave global metrics. Source: Aave However, the ACI’s report also highlights several pain points. First, regarding the Layer-2 (L2) strategy. While Aave’s L2 strategy was once a key driver of success, it is no longer fit for purpose. Over half of Aave’s instances on L2s and alt-L1s are not economically viable. Based on year-to-date data, over 86.6% of Aave’s revenue comes from the mainnet, indicating that everything else is a side quest. On this basis, ACI proposes closing underperforming networks. The DAO should invest in key networks with significant differentiators. Second, ACI is pushing for a complete overhaul of the “friendly fork” framework, as most have been unimpressive regarding TVL and revenue. In some cases, attackers have exploited them to Aave’s detriment, as seen with Spark. Sponsored Sponsored “The friendly fork model had a good intention but bad execution where the DAO was too friendly towards these forks, allowing the DAO only little upside,” the report states. Third, the instance model, once a smart…
