Oracle leads the shift to AI-powered finance, unveiling new agentic capabilities within its Cloud ERP, recognized by Gartner and adopted by major firms like PwC and Choctaw Nation.

Oracle has made significant strides in transforming the finance sector with the introduction of agentic AI capabilities within its Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, according to oracle.com. The past year has seen Oracle at the forefront of this shift, integrating advanced AI features to enhance financial operations across industries.

Advancements in Oracle Cloud ERP

Oracle has expanded its AI offerings with the introduction of new AI agents designed to streamline finance operations. These agents, embedded within Oracle Cloud ERP, include capabilities such as automating invoice processing, improving forecast accuracy, and optimizing payment processes. The Oracle AI Agent Studio was also launched, providing a platform for developing and managing AI agents within enterprises.

Furthermore, the Oracle Fusion Applications AI Agent Marketplace was introduced, offering customers access to a range of validated, partner-built AI agents. This marketplace connects users with Oracle’s network of trusted partners, facilitating easy deployment of innovative AI solutions.

Industry Recognition and Adoption

Oracle’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, as the company was named a Leader in four Gartner reports on finance capabilities. The recognition highlights Oracle’s ability to execute and its comprehensive vision for Oracle Cloud ERP. Analysts and industry experts have praised Oracle for surpassing competitors like SAP, citing the unified database infrastructure as a significant advantage.

Adoption of Oracle’s solutions has been widespread, with over 11,000 customers utilizing Oracle Cloud ERP. Notable examples include PwC and Choctaw Nation, both of which have leveraged Oracle’s AI capabilities to enhance their financial operations and strategic planning.

Strategic Partnerships and Innovations

Oracle has also strengthened its partner ecosystem, collaborating with J.P. Morgan Payments to launch a supply chain finance solution integrated within Oracle Cloud ERP. This solution streamlines working capital management and has been recognized with the Working Capital Innovation Award. Additionally, Brex became the first fintech issuer embedded within Oracle Cloud ERP, further enhancing payment options for users.

As Oracle continues to push the boundaries of AI in finance, its comprehensive suite of solutions is empowering businesses to operate more efficiently and unlock new opportunities for growth.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
